"The Old Bridge" Department

The Museum The Old Bridge with a viewpoint, located in the Tara tower complex, presents the Old Bridge reconstruction project (1999.-2004.) from the 16th century with the associated Tara tower.

DŽEMAL BIJEDIĆ MEMORIAL HOUSE

As an annex of the Herzegovina Museum, the Džemal Bijedić Memorial House was opened on April 22, 1981.

SVETOZAR ĆOROVIĆ MEMORIAL HOUSE

The Svetozar Ćorović Memorial House was designated for needs of the Literature department.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL DEPARTMENT

The Herzegovina Museum has the privilege to keep and inheritthe remains of the past time at Archaeological Department.

“THE OLD BRIDGE” MUSEUM

Next to the Old Bridge, there is a department of the Herzegovina Museum dedicated to the history of the city of Mostar development.

INTERPRETATION CENTER “MUM”

In the The interpretation center MUM there is an ethnological collection of exceptional value of 70 exhibits.

PERMANENT DISPLAY

The permanent display “Life and culture of the urban and rural population of Mostar and its surroundings”.

The wealth, diversity and creative creativity can be seen in the Herzegovina Museum in Mostar, that has become a treasury of cultural and historical heritage, a memory keaper and an institution that gives specificity to the Mostar environment, and that is the cultural heritage and the possibility of its presentation through various forms of cultural life and activities.
